2007-08 NFL Football Season goes to London as Giants and Dolphins play at Wembley Stadium

Probably because these guys want to let silly Europeans know what ''football'' is all about.

And in case you didn't get that, let me break it to you gently. You see, football means an entirely different thing in Europe than in the United States, where the NFL is from obviously. For some reason, what's football for Europe means soccer in the U.S. which makes you wonder what the heck will these Europeans be calling the game when the NFL gets there this 2007-08 NFL football season.

Hee hee... And yes, the NFL will be live in Europe as the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins play their Week 8 match-up straight from London. This would be the league's first regular season game played there, second regular season game abroad as the NFL usually have these international adventures, if you will, only for the preseason.

The first NFL regular season game played abroad was the game between the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants back in October 2, 2005 in Mexico. The Cardinals simply trashed the 49ers, 31-14, it was the fourth game of the regular season for both teams.

A crowd of 103,467 gathered in Azteca Stadium for it.

The NFL will be hoping for the same success when the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins dance for London. The Giants are red-hot winning five games in a row while the Dolphins are ice-cold, losing seven straight.

And as if Miami's troubles was enough, the city has to witness the Miami Heat start their season. He he... (Sorry, I just needed to let that one out of the way...) Seriously, Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown is now out for the rest of the season with a torn knee ligament.

He'd probably miss the trip to Europe.
