Can Tony Gonzalez finally get the Kansas City Chiefs going this 2007-08 NFL Football Season?

As of press time, they are at a decent 3-3 mark.

Yep, after six weeks of the 2007-08 NFL football season, the Kansas City Chiefs are back at the .500 win mark after starting the year 0-2. They just scored their third win against the high-flying Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday, when their star tight end simply stole the F'n show.

It was the Tony Gonzalez show alright as the Kansas City Chiefs watched their tight end score two of their team's three touchdowns en route to a 27-20 win over Cincinnati.

Those two touchdowns Tony Gonzalez scored were record breaking touchdowns too. When he caught his first one in the first quarter, that immediately let him become the NFL all-time leader in touchdowns by a tight end, earning him a whopping 63 trips to the endzone in his career.

His 64th, his second TD of the game, was for good measure. And to simply knock off the Cincinnati Bengals for good too.

Tony Gonzalez has overtaken the TE touchdown record set by former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe, who caught 62 TDs in his NFL career. Gonzalez sure was waiting for this very day when he will be recognized as the best tight end receiver in all of football. After his milestone Sunday, he definitely should be seen as one.

Of course, the Kansas City Chiefs should start winning first. For now, Tony Gonzalez will relish the fact that he is now the league's premiere tight end touchdown machine. Yep, he will play that milestone TD catch over and over until somebody boinks him in the head.

''It wasn't the easiest [catch],'' said a grinning Tony Gonzalez. ''I had to go get it. I was like, 'I'm not letting this one get away. I've been waiting a long time for it.'''

Tony Gonzalez will now be trying to keep the Kansas City Chiefs rolling when they take on the Oakland Raiders next. The Raiders will be home but with them struggling with a 2-3 start, this rivalry game should see all red instead of silver and black.
