Should the Patriots be worried that Tom Brady is injured before meeting the Giants at Super Bowl XLII?

Um... NO.

And in case that fails to satisfy you, read on. Hold on to that Super Bowl XLII ticket because this is going to be a fast one. Tom Brady doesn't care if he's hurt or not. He will play. Trust me.

Still reading? Well, in case you're still worrying about the possibility that the New England Patriots leader could be less than 100 percent at the Super Bowl, let me reiterate that Brady is durable and yes, no ankle sprain can stop him from playing on February 3.

You see, this high ankle sprain on Tom Brady is considered far less severe than the one he got from the 2002 AFC championship game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. You see, THAT one forced him to the sidelines and ALMOST cost him his starting spot in Super Bowl XXXVI.

Lo and behold, Drew Bledsoe returned to the bench, Tom Brady beat the St. Louis Rams defense and the New England Patriots stopped what was once dubbed as the greatest show on turf to win the Super Bowl XXXVI title.

Does that mean Tom Brady will beat the New York Giants and win Super Bowl XLII? I don't know, but he WILL show up and he WILL play. That's for sure.

Tom Brady has always been the picture of durability ever since. Heck, fantasy owners are used to seeing ''probable'' or ''questionable'' next to Tom Brady's name and yet, they don't hesitate in starting the guy for any given Sunday.

Brady has a starting streak of 126, trailing only Brett Favre and Peyton Manning. Yeah sure, this injury may have caused him to throw those 3 INTs against the Chargers secondary but bottomline is, the Pats still won that game right?

Besides, Tom Brady said it best.

''I'm not worried. I'm not missing this one,'' Tom Brady said, referring to Super Bowl XLII against the New York Giants. ''I'd have to be on a stretcher to miss this one.''
