Cowboys and Giants conclude NFL Divisional Playoffs
Yep, it's a huge NFC rivalry game to conclude the NFL divisional playoffs and decide who moves on to the conference championship.
Not bad eh? It's Dallas and New York to finish off the divisional round of the 2008 NFL playoffs. These two teams have been going at it within the NFC East for quite some time now and they have the opportunity to end the other's campaign for a title this year by winning their last rivalry game of the season.
The Dallas Cowboys host rivals New York Giants after the latter survived the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay last weekend.
Of course, the big news coming to this game is the availability of Terrell Owens in the Cowboys offense. T.O. is one of the game's best playmakers and the Cowboys need this guy if they want to move past the divisional round this time around.
Terrell Owens, the Dallas Cowboys' Pro Bowl wide receiver, who participated in a walk-through on Monday, has a sprained ankle and did not practice Wednesday. His availability against the New York Giants is unlikely to be known, at least by non-Cowboys, until Sunday. Team officials did not say Owens had a setback, but they were less optimistic about his status than they were earlier in the week.
''He's trying to get better,'' Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said. ''But this is sometimes a six to eight-week injury. We're trying to get him back in three, so that's where we are.''
Quit the bullshit man, we all know Terrell Owens will play. Sheesh...
Of course, the New York Giants see through this cloud of shit Wade Phillips cast, hoping to earn him any advantage that he can coming to this huge NFC divisional playoff game.
''He will play,'' New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said. ''There is no doubt in my mind he will play.''
Who will win this NFC divisional playoff game between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys? Bodog Sportsbook has the odds.
