McLaren – Mercedes will have to deal with a second Stepneygate Hearing in this 2007 F1 Season
Oh yeah, those boys from McLaren ain't safe from getting their asses fucked this season.
Just in case you've been living under a rock lately, an already interesting 2007 F1 season just got a little bit interesting when it was found that McLaren had in their disposal some sensitive Ferrari material that they probably used to gain an advantage over the rest of their rivals.
And just so you know, McLaren has BOTH of their drivers at the top of the 2007 F1 drivers' championship with McLaren rookie Lewis Hamilton and two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso sitting one and two respectively.
Oh yeah, McLaren, as a team, is leading the 2007 F1 constructors' championship too. Hmm... It definitely looks like those Ferrari materials REALLY did them good eh?
Well, after the FIA held a hearing last July that saw McLaren getting off easy, it turns out that the team will be dealing with the same thing again after F1's governing body received new evidence in the said case.
The next trial will be on the 13th of September in the French capital. And just because I'm really looking forward for McLaren to get their asses screwed this 2007 F1 season, the possibility that McLaren-Mercedes will be thrown out of BOTH drivers' and constructors' world championships just got a rather nasty turn from merely a probability to a scary reality.
''Following receipt of new evidence, the World Motor Sport Council has been reconvened for a hearing in Paris on September 13,'' read an FIA statement.
At the initial hearing in July, the FIA reserved the right to revisit the case by saying, ''If it is found in the future that the Ferrari information has been used to the detriment of the championship, we reserve the right to invite McLaren back in front of the WMSC where it will face the possibility of exclusion from not only the 2007 championship but also the 2008 championship.''
He he... Now, if only Kimi Raikkonen just start racing decently.
Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.
Kimi Raikkonen 7/4
Fernando Alonso 7/4
Lewis Hamilton 9/2
Felipe Massa 5/2
