Jeez... Even Toro Rosso doesn't want Ralf Schumacher
For all ya'll not familiar with Formula One racing, let's just say that the Toro Rosso team are the Cleveland Browns of F1.
Yep, they SUCK. And with Toyota STILL refusing to offer Ralf Schumacher a new contract after failing to produce the results that will probably make people notice that the guy is carrying the name, ''Schumacher,'' he had no choice but to ask Toro Rosso for a job.
Guess what, these guys don't want him as well. He he... The 2007 F1 season sure keeps on getting more interesting by the minute eh? I mean, with the major driver transfers to start the year, the team dissensions that has been going on and the whole McLaren - Ferrari scandal, jeez... to say that this season is the shit could very well be an understatement.
Unfortunately for Ralf Schumacher, the 2007 F1 season, like most seasons the guy had throughout his career anyway, has been a rather pathetic one.
The German F1 driver is desperate to keep his ass planted inside the cockpit of a Formula One car. As it turns out, Toro Rosso co-owner Gerhard Berger doesn't want any part of THIS Schumacher.
How? Well, he just signed a couple of guys that goes by the names Sebastian Vettel and Sebastien Bourdias for the 2008 season. He he... If only Michael Schumacher's younger bro was named Sebastian, ya' think it would make a difference? Um... It turns out that Toro Rosso doesn't think so.
''Certain promises were not kept,'' Ralf Schumacher told the German newspaper with regards to Toro Rosso's new signings.
For what it's worth, Ralf's manager Hans Mahr hasn't given up hope yet of finding an F1 seat for his client. Hell, the guy's still hoping Toyota will resign poor Ralf.
''We have some possibilities, but the priority is to stay with Toyota. We will talk about it soon,'' Hans Mahr said.
Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.
Kimi Raikkonen 7/4
Fernando Alonso 7/4
Lewis Hamilton 9/2
Felipe Massa 5/2
