David Coulthard claims Ferrari is ANTI-Felipe Massa

seth-edward-oneal.jpgDon't ask me why the hell is this guy meddling with Ferrari affairs.

Dissension within teams has become somewhat of a trend in the 2007 F1 season. We all know McLaren is already having a lot of shit lately with the ongoing rivalry between the two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso and current championship points leader, F1 rookie driver Lewis Hamilton.

It turns out that the dissension going on within the Ferrari side, on the other hand, has now become something more interesting than we probably thought. But then again, maybe not. One thing's for sure though, David Coulthard, a man who has no business whatsoever meddling with Ferrari's business, is trying to anyway.

The former McLaren driver and current Red Bull star claimed that the Italian Ferrari team is favoring Kimi Raikkonen more than their Brazilian driver, Felipe Massa. I guess the guy has no idea Ferrari ALWAYS favor basically anyone other than a Brazilian.

We all saw some of that when Michael Schumacher won a race for Ferrari after the team ordered Schumi's Brazilian teammate, Rubens Barrichello, to back off and let Schumacher get the win in the final goddamn lap.

I don't know if Ferrari just plain hate Brazilians or what. (Well, they do have one nasty rivalry in international football right?)

Also according to Coulthard, Kimi Raikkonen overtaking Massa in the drivers' championship standings was planned by the Ferrari team. In case you didn't know, Massa was ahead of his more popular teammate after seven legs. Now, Raikkonen has 60 points, ahead of the Brazilian who has 59.

During qualifying back in the concluded 2007 Hungarian Grand Prix, Ferrari failed to refuel Massa's car that forced the Brazilian to start 14th on the grid. Something Coulthard claims was done deliberately to favor Raikkonen.

Coulthard said, ''How do we know that Ferrari didn't deliberately not put fuel in Felipe's car? Maybe that was a team decision to benefit Kimi. How do you forget to put fuel in a car?''

David Coulthard was Kimi Raikkonen's teammate back when they were racing for McLaren-Mercedes.

Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.

Kimi Raikkonen 7/4

Fernando Alonso 7/4

Lewis Hamilton 9/2

Felipe Massa 5/2
