2007 NCAA College Football Season Match-Ups Begin
Because college football is here and we're still a few more days away from talking about the NFL other than Michael Vick.
As the 2007 NCAA college football season warms up, we will probably see some powerhouse teams from last season who come in this year merely a shell of it's former form. Of course, we'll also see great teams continue to be great and pathetic teams continue to suck like a two-dollar Las Vegas whore.
With that said, let's put the would-be's and the has-been's in the 2007 NCAA college football season in a face-off somewhat and see how one compares to the other. You just know that the ACC still has no business on the football field and should just keep playing their basketball right?
Yep, the ACC continue to have their problems playing football because of one reason and one reason only, no one can play quarterback. The only real QB in the godforsaken conference (at least in football...) is Matt Ryan of the Boston College Eagles, and he plays like Rex Grossman. Fuck.
Across the ACC is probably the best conference in all of college football. That's the Big 12. And just because there are three teams in the said conference carrying the name Texas, no one even dared to tell them otherwise. The Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Texas A&M Aggies and of course, the Texas Longhorns, will all probably be finishing strong this season.
Of course, that's until they run into the USC Trojans.
Oh yeah, speaking of the No.1 ranked team in all of college football, the Trojans come in this season with probably the top candidate to win the Heisman, John David Booty. And as hot as the Trojans are right now, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are probably THE team who downgraded the most.
They won't be having Brady Quinn nor Jeff Samardzija, or even the defense they had last season. Of course, they're in for yet another tough schedule that will probably get their asses good. Very good.
