Can F1 star Lewis Hamilton win 2007 Hungarian GP?
For what it's worth, Lewis Hamilton will try after missing the podium for the first time in his young F1 career.
Yep, apparently, Lewis Hamilton is human after all. After a series of podium finishes since making his F1 debut in the 2007 F1 season, McLaren - Mercedes rookie driver Lewis Hamilton did not have a podium finish at the Nurburgring after the rain simply fucked up the German Grand Prix two weeks ago.
Not only did he finish the race no way near the podium, he finished the race scoring NO championship points. Yep, that's how pathetic Lewis Hamilton was at the Nurburgring, home of the very man many people consider Hamilton will be replacing, Michael Schumacher.
With Lewis Hamilton scoring no championship points in Germany while teammate Fernando Alonso winning the entire thing to pull within two points of Hamilton's championship lead, the McLaren rookie will be going all out to win this Sunday.
He should anyway.
''We have as good a chance as anyone at the race,'' Lewis Hamilton said. ''We have a great car, and it is important that I go with a clear mind and the same approach as normal. There is no reason why we can't go there and win.''
As of press time, Lewis Hamilton is still leading the 2007 F1 drivers championship with 70 points. Hamilton's McLaren - Mercedes teammate, two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso, has 68 points after winning the 2007 German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring.
The two McLaren drivers will still be going for the title this season despite the still ongoing crisis that involves their team and rivals, Ferrari.
For all ya'll who don't know, McLaren stole some sensitive Ferrari material that could've given them an edge this 2007 F1 season. This incident only put some fire in this feud between two of the biggest names in Formula One.
Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.
Kimi Raikkonen 7/4
Fernando Alonso 7/4
Lewis Hamilton 9/2
Felipe Massa 5/2
