Spurs to take 2-0 lead over Cavaliers in Game 2

On Sunday, the San Antonio Spurs will take STEP TWO towards a sweep of the Cavaliers in the 2007 NBA Finals.

85-76 was the final score in Game 1 when the San Antonio Spurs EASILY dismantled any semblance of hope the Cleveland Cavaliers had coming to the 2007 NBA Finals.

In one of the most anticipated NBA Finals debut in NBA Finals history, (well... at least by Cleveland fans anyway...) LeBron James looked like a mere idiot from looking like our Lord God and Savior in their series against the Detroit Pistons. (Yes... I'm still mourning...)

LeBron James shot a miserable 4-of-16 from the field, scoring for only 14 points as San Antonio's defensive star Bruce Bowen reduced LeBron from ''King James'' to a miserable fuck.

As for my favorite Cavalier? Well, Daniel Gibson, that irritating Cleveland Cavaliers rookie, finished the game with a team-high 16 points for Cleveland, shooting 7-9 from the field and 2-3 from three-point range. (Puh-lease, can Robert Horry knock this guy down to the ground already?)

Tony Parker led the way for the San Antonio Spurs, scoring a game-high 27 points. Of course, Tim Duncan had his usual dominant performance, scoring 24 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and coming away with FIVE blocks. Yep, this guy was just ridiculous in Game 1.

Coming to Game 2, the Cleveland Cavaliers will look to even the series before the 2007 NBA Finals head to Cleveland for the first time in Cavaliers history. Games 3, 4 and 5 will be played at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and you can bet your ass all the stupid ''Witnesses'' will be there screaming their lungs out for a Cavaliers win over the mighty San Antonio Spurs.

The only problem is, the Spurs will look to take Game 2 and have a 2-0 series lead first. And to make matters worse for Ohio, Manu Ginobili hasn't even exploded offensively yet. Uh oh...

Manu Ginobili scored 16 points off the bench in Game 1. Of course, if you've been following the Spurs in all their NBA Finals wars, you know Manu IS the X-Factor. Hell, since Manu killed the Pistons in that fateful Game 7 of 2005, I've been playing the hate game on this guy since.

But this year, the Cleveland Cavaliers did a fine job catching my attention and now, I'm rooting for Manu Ginobili to kick the Cavaliers in the nuts while San Antonio go for a commanding 2-0 lead in Game 2.

Can the San Antonio Spurs win Game 2 and take a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers? Who will win the 2007 NBA Championship? Here are some odds from Bodog:

Cleveland Cavaliers 12/1

San Antonio Spurs 5/8
