Horses that will unload horse shit at 2007 Belmont Stakes
Because hey, these horses, as great as their owners say they are, still have to poo right?
And yeah, the 2007 Belmont Stakes is this Saturday as SEVEN of the top horses of the nation will meet at Belmont Park in New York to decide the final leg of this year's race for the Triple Crown.
First, we have Imawildandcrazyguy at post position no.1. Trained by William Kaplan, Imawildandcrazyguy will be ridden by Mark Guidry as they look for a photo finish to end the 2007 Triple Crown series. The only problem for Imawildandcrazyguy is, his owner REALLY is a wild and crazy guy for getting his horse compete with the big boys THIS EARLY. The horse had only two wins of 12 lifetime starts, with his only victories coming last year in maiden and allowance events at Calder. The horse just kept on losing since his wild and crazy owner stepped into tougher competition.
Tiago will come from post position no.2 and yeah, he's still a 100-1 longshot despite being the little brother of Giacomo. Tiago is simply not good enough. Yeah sure, he won the Santa Anita Derby but puh-lease, the horse was competing with a weaker field then. That was apparent when the horse lost to a grand total of six horses at the 2007 Kentucky Derby.
At post position no.3, we have the heavy favorite Curlin. Yeah sure, Curlin's ownership is being disputed as we speak but the fact of the matter is, this horse STILL is the best horse that will come out of the gates on Saturday. And what's even more frightening is the fact that we haven't even seen Curlin at his best yet.
Nick Zito's C.P. West will come out from post position no.4 as the ever popular Edgar Prado tries to ride the colt to win the 2007 Belmont Stakes. Now, I don't have any doubts about Edgar Prado's skills as a talented jockey but C.P. West has only won once in his six-race career. THAT will definitely be a big problem when the games come flying open on Saturday.
Slew's Tizzy is at post position no.5. He never won over a fast dirt track. He has never tried a mile and a half and has never raced beyond a mile and a sixteenth. Obviously, you shouldn't be wasting your time with this horse.
Probably coming out to ruin Curlin's party at Belmont Park is Hard Spun, who will come out of post position no.6. Hard Spun is having quite a consistent run in this year's Triple Crown series. The horse has tactical speed and that is a big plus in the Belmont Stakes. The only problem I see for Hard Spun is fatigue because not every horse can hold up to EVERY SINGLE Triple Crown race. And in case you haven't been counting, this will be Hard Spun's third race in five weeks.
Last but certainly not the least, Todd Pletcher's Rags to Riches will come out of post position no.7. The horse is an awesome filly and is clearly the ultimate leader of the horse's division. Yeah sure, she's a filly and fillies are not suppose to win races like these but hey, she's still a Todd Pletcher horse and I just have this feeling that Rags to Riches will shock everybody by winning the 2007 Belmont Stakes.
A rags to riches story is due at the 2007 Belmont Stakes.
