Will David Diaz fuck Manny Pacquiao up this Saturday?
The WBC Lightweight Championship will be decided this Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada as boxing's third world moron, Manny Pacquiao, tries to pry that Lightweight championship belt away from defending champion David Diaz.
Of course, since you're reading this here on OddJack, you just know that another 'Pacquiao-bashing' is on the way right? You bet. I'm still waiting for the day when a Mexican finally knocks that duck-fetus off Pacquiao's gums but since David Diaz will come into this fight as a heavy underdog, I'll already be happy seeing Pacquiao's face rearranged by the Mexican champion, win or lose.
Jeez... This third world joke has gone waaay too far already. Hell, the Philippines ALMOST saw this joke in office when Manny Pacquiao decided to make a run for a political position in the country. THANKFULLY, Pacquiao lost that battle in emphatic fashion and it's about time somebody puts him out of his misery inside the ring as well.
For what it's worth, David Diaz, with a record of 37-1-1, definitely has what it takes to pull off an upset this Saturday. Diaz is 8-0-1 in his last nine fights inside the squared circle and with Pacquiao moving to Diaz' weight class, Pacquiao's camp is still uncertain what that stupid mustache can do in the lightweight division.
Pacquiao claims he moved up weight classes to become the first Asian boxer to win four world titles in different divisions. Of course, I see different. It is so obvious that Pacquiao moved up weight classes to avoid a possible third match with Juan Manuel Marquez.
You see, the last time Pacquiao faced Marquez, Pacquiao won via split decision despite the fact that fans in attendance clearly saw Marquez winning it by points. Of course, that's entirely a different story altogether.
Can Manny Pacquiao win his fourth title or will David Diaz finally do the sport of boxing a favor and rearrange that godforsaken face on Pacquiao's head? I'm hoping for the latter.
Will David Diaz knock Manny Pacquiao out silly? Bodog sportsbook has the odds.
Manny Pacquiao 1.25
David Diaz 4.00
