No Rest at the Spa in F1 with 2007 Belgian Grand Prix

Yes, all of the best F1 drivers in the world will be at the Spa this weekend. And no, they're not looking for a Swedish massage.

The 2007 F1 season resumes this Sunday as the Spa-Francorchamps circuit returns to Formula One after a one-year hiatus from enduring all them skid marks. Yep, the Spa is back as this year's race for the title resumes in Belgium.

And heading to the 2007 Belgian Grand Prix, amidst all the controversies surrounding these guys lately, McLaren - Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso will be looking to lead the drivers' title race.

Lewis Hamilton currently has 92 championship points, holding a small three-point advantage over his two-time world champion teammate Fernando Alonso, who has 89. These two McLaren drivers haven't been the best of friends as the season winds down and you just know, with only four more races to go, that they'll be going all out to win the title. (And probably to screw each other too...)

Hamilton, for one, knows what's at stake with only four more races to go. And even though the season will be going down the wire, Hamilton claims he doesn't feel any pressure at all heading to the 2007 Belgian Grand Prix.

''The situation in both championships is very close, and people keep talking about pressure, but it just provides me with extra motivation, I certainly don't feel any stress. There are four races to go, including Belgium, and I will take them all individually and do my best to try and win them,'' Lewis Hamilton said.

And while Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to winning the 2007 Belgium Grand Prix, his McLaren - Mercedes counterpart, Fernando Alonso, claims that the Spa is just like Monza, where he simply dominated from start to finish. Yes, in case you're wondering, Alonso thinks he will dominate in Belgium too.

''Last weekend in Italy was a special result for me and the team. The car was really fast and we are working to take that performance to Spa. There are some similar characteristics between Spa and Monza, as both demand a lot of power, so hopefully we will carry that over and be quick,'' Fernando Alonso said.

Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.

Kimi Raikkonen 7/4
