Pistons found out there's gas left in Chris Webber's tank

Chris Webber is doing better than Allen Iverson, let's just put it that way.

Yep, Chris Webber and Allen Iverson, once known as the Philadelphia 76ers formidable tandem, are now with two separate teams. Iverson joined the Denver Nuggets and C-Webb went back home in Detroit to join the Pistons.

Since then, Chris Webber has been faring awfully better than his ex-76er counterpart. Allen Iverson, since his move from Philly to Denver, has continually battled with injuries all season and his presence on the court did not necessarily meant more wins.

The Denver Nuggets were hovering around .500, before and after the Iverson trade.

Chris Webber, on the other hand, has given the Detroit Pistons another solid offensive threat. Almost everybody thought Chris Webber was done, damaged goods, but after watching C-Webb put up 15+ points with 5+ assists in his No.84 Pistons uniform, everybody knew then that they were wrong.

Heck, there's a resurrection in the East coast and it ain't Tupac. It's Chris Webber.

The Chris Webber we see today could be even better than the Webber who underwent a microfracture surgery in 2003. Hell, this Webber could be even better than the explosive Fab 5 guy who first entered the league.

Why? Well, C-Webb is wiser these days. Instead of trying to overpower seven-foot, 300-pound monsters inside the paint, Chris Webber is using his veteran savvy to get the best out of every opponent.

Heck, add that to his STILL incredible passing skills and you have one great pickup nobody saw coming.

Can Chris Webber lead the Detroit Pistons to the NBA Playoffs? Who will win the 2007 NBA Championship? Here are some odds from Bodog:

Chicago Bulls 7/1

Detroit Pistons 9/1

Dallas Mavericks 7/2

Miami Heat 4/1 (boo!)
