What to do without NFL Football

Now that the Colts destroyed the Bears at Super Bowl XLI to end the season as champions, football season is officially over.

Yep, sad to say but we would have to wait for September until the brand new NFL Football season starts all over again. Yep, it will definitely be one long wait. But hey, there's always the NBA anyway.

We will remember the time when big brother Peyton made little brother Eli cry like a baby to start the season, we will remember the time when the Arizona Cardinals just went nuts after blowing a 24-0 lead to the Chicago Bears and yep, we will remember how Rex Grossman looked like a jackass at Super Bowl XLI to help Peyton Manning win his first Super Bowl.

Now what? Now that the NFL Football season is over, what is there left to do? Will time stop just because football season is finally over? Will the world stop turning? Here are just some things you can try while waiting for the new NFL Football season on September.

If you're the married type, you can start learning the names of your children. LEARN IT, don't use name tags only to put it on your children's backs and have jersey numbers corresponding to which one was born first.

Again, if you're married, you can say something to your wife without using the words ''blitz, shotgun, nickel package, dime umbrella and motherfucking referee.'' Oh yeah, NEVER call your wife for a ''false start'' when too much time elapses between the call for dinner and the meal appearing.

Give your liver time to get in shape for the next Super Bowl. Hold off drinking until noon.

Help your children with their Math homework. If they are having a hard time with, say, percentages, explain that if they were betting on the Indianapolis Colts, the bookie's 10 percent vig would necessitate risking $55 to win $50.

Last but not the least, if you really have to have your NFL Football, you can always watch ''games'' with Madden. Just set-up a CPU vs. CPU game between any two teams and enjoy. Heck, you can bet on those games too if you want.
