Madden tells us that the Indianapolis Colts will win Super Bowl XLI and cream the Chicago Bears
Even the Madden NFL Football video game agrees, Brian Urlacher ain't got nothing on Peyton Manning.
In a simulated Super Bowl XLI match-up through EA Sports madden game engine, the Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears 38-27 in a CPU versus CPU format.
The Madden game engine includes a multitude of variables, including real team playbooks, coach tendencies based on official NFL scouting reports, current rosters updated daily, and artificial player intelligence based on player rankings, scheme reactions, and individual and team matchups, and more so I guess this is as good as the real thing eh?
The Indianapolis Colts sure hope so. This simulated Super Bowl XLI just proves that this Sunday's big game is a contest the Indianapolis Colts should win. What happened during this simulated Super Bowl Sunday? Read on.
Peyton Manning started the scoring barrage early, starting what the Colts should do come Super Bowl XLI on Sunday at Miami, PASSING THE GODDAMN BALL. The Colts can't afford to run the football and let Chicago Bears MLB Brian Urlacher stop them with every play.
The Colts have to pass. And that's exactly what the Colts A.I. did to the Bears defense.
Peyton Manning finally shook the label of ''big-game choker'' for once and for all, leading scoring drives of 81, 78, 76 and 71 yards while throwing for three touchdowns. His lone mistake was an interception late in the second quarter that led to a Chicago field goal, but otherwise the Colts' signal-caller was near-flawless, completing 28 of 36 passes and deftly managing the Indianapolis offense against a team that exhibited a stifling defense earlier in the season.
In this simulated Super Bowl, Peyton Manning went for 383 yards to score three touchdowns. Rex Grossman was just as good, going for 231 yards ant a couple of TDs. But apparently, not good enough as the virtual Colts celebrated their virtual Super Bowl XLI win at the virtual world of Madden NFL Football.
E... A... Sports... It's in the game.
Can Peyton Manning lead the Indianapolis Colts to win Super Bowl XLI? Who will win Super Bowl XLI at Miami, Florida? Bodog has the outright odds on that one.
