Greg Oden who? It's the Kevin Durant show in this College Basketball season's March Madness wars

Just when you thought Greg Oden of the Ohio State Buckeyes is a lock for the overall no.1 draft pick in the NBA Draft, a Longhorn comes out.

Yep, Kevin Durant of the Texas Longhorns, all of a sudden, is playing like Superman in basketball shoes. No one can seem to stop Kevin Durant lately and it seems all that media hype surrounding Ohio State's dominant giant seem to fade and starts to surround Texas' young superstar.

Every NCAA College Basketball team unfortunate enough to face Kevin Durant and the rest of the Texas Longhorns are just going nuts trying to stop this kid. They threw basically everything at the guy but Kevin just kept on going.

Full court man to man defense? Half court zones? They used 'em all, and NONE can't seem to work.

''He's the best freshman and one of the best players I've ever seen,'' Texas A&M head coach Billy Gillispie said. ''I don't think anyone has figured anything out. I think it's going to take NBA players to slow him down, and I doubt if they're going to do a very good job either.''

''I know people have tried to do different things (defensively),'' Texas assistant coach Russ Springmann said. ''Some people have face-guarded him. Some people have tried to be physical with him.''

''To Kevin's credit and his teammates' credit, he's continued to move and play in the flow of the game and his teammates have done a great job of paying attention to where he is and trying to find him when he's open.''

Yeah yeah, I'm sure Kevin Durant is a talented player. But we all know what happened to college standouts with hype like this heading to the NBA Draft. Remember when they said Michael Olowakandi was a combination of a young Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O'Neal?

Of course you do. He plays like a jackass and runs like Charles Barkley.

Can Kevin Durant lead the Texas Longhorns to win the NCAA College Basketball championship? Here are some odds from Bodog sportsbook.

Florida Gators 9/2

Ohio State Buckeyes 8/1

North Carolina Tar Heels 5/1

UCLA Bruins 8/1
