Ricky Williams to play for Dolphins against the Steelers?
And it'll be this Monday night on the league's premiere weekly extravaganza. He he... Ricky sure knows how to make a comeback eh?
For all ya'll who don't know, the Miami Dolphins haven't won anything whatsoever this 2007-08 NFL football season. The Dolphins are 0-10 right now and are in a desperate need for anything they can use to finally get that first win of what has been a pathetic and miserable campaign.
Well, their disgruntled running back is... well... BACK as Ricky Williams makes his return on the Miami Dolphins roster and could suit up for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Yep, you read it, the junkie is making yet another crack at the NFL.
Ricky Williams began his somewhat ''official'' return this week, doing some weight lifting and meetings with his Miami Dolphins teammates. Wednesday is his first official practice with the Dolphins as they prepare for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night.
Maybe, just maybe, they won't get their asses handed to them this time.
The Dolphins face a 7-3 Pittsburgh Steelers team looking to get back on top of the food chain after failing to get to the playoffs as defending Super Bowl champs last season. But after Pittsburgh lost to the pathetic New York Jets last Sunday, this is the best time for Miami to pull off an upset over the Steel Curtain.
Although I still highly doubt it.
And as good as Ricky Williams' latest comeback sound to the rest of the Miami fans, Dolphins head coach Cam Cameron is not making any guarantees that Williams would get the start, or even play against Pittsburgh at all.
