2007-08 NFL Football Week 4 Betting Picks

The Patriots undefeated? CHECK. The Colts too? CHECK. Miami still suck? CHECK. Packers are perfect? Wha?!?

Yep, that's apparently the theme after three weeks into the 2007-08 NFL football season. Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers are the talk of the town, topping the struggling Chargers, Belichick's cameras and of course, Terrell Owens.

On Sunday, Week 4 of the NFL season will see the red-hot Green Bay Packers (because green is the new red...) visit Minnesota to take on the Vikings. This would be an NFC North rivalry game you shouldn't miss, that is if you want to witness history on Sunday.

Yes, Brett Favre could very well be the all-time leader in touchdowns when they visit Minnesota. As of press time, the immortal Favre is tied with Dan Marino for most career touchdowns in the NFL.

That's 420 TDs for all ya'll too lazy to do your research. Another touchdown for Brett Favre against a very pathetic Vikings defense is inevitable. Oh yeah, in case you're wondering, there's no reason for you to bet against the Green Bay Packers. Take 'em to win -6.5 over the Minnesota Vikings people.

On NFL Sunday Night Football, one of the biggest rivalries in the NFC will resume their storied history as the Philadelphia Eagles visit the New York Giants at Giant Stadium. The Eagles are coming off a killer game, when Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb came up with a rather ridiculous four-touchdown game where he virtually ate up 381 yards in the air.

That's after Donovan McNabb made all those comments about how black QBs get scrutinized more in the NFL.

As for their Sunday night rivals, the New York Giants are just happy to return to Giant Stadium finally winning their first game in the 2007-08 NFL football season. Eli Manning had 232 yards passing as he led the Giants to squeeze past the Washington Redskins.

Who should you pick for Sunday Night Football? I'm picking the Philadelphia Eagles just because Donovan McNabb is STILL probably hot. And yeah, the Giants' win over Washington last Sunday was just a fluke.

Pick the Philadelphia Eagles -3 over the little Giants from New York City.

On Monday night, the still undefeated New England Patriots take on the high-flying offense of the Cincinnati Bengals in what should be a Monday Night Football extravaganza that will feature two of the best quarterback - wideout tandems in the league today.

In the New England Patriots, we have Tom Brady and Randy Moss. Both of them rank atop their respective positions in all of football and you just know that both of them will light up the scoreboard again on Monday night.

As for the Cincinnati Bengals, wide receiver Chad Johnson is still the man, leading the league in receiving yards with 442 after three weeks of football. QB Carson Palmer, on the other hand, is coming to his own now and should form one deadly one-two punch with Ocho Cinco for Cincinnati once the guy has finally settled in.

This should be one exciting game on Monday Night Football. Who should you pick? The New England Patriots of course. Why? Well, the 'Brady bunch' have something the Bengals don't.

Defense.

Pick the New England Patriots to win -7.5 over the Cincinnati Bengals.

As always, here's the rest of them picks for Week 4.
