2007-08 NFL Football Week 3 Betting Picks
It's Week 3 and one of the games I'll be watching this week is that game between the Patriots and the Bills.
The New England Patriots have a golden opportunity to finish the 2007-08 NFL football season PERFECT. Yeah, I know, it's still a little early to say that, specially about the Patriots who I heavily rooted against during last year's AFC championship game.
However, it's a little different this season. The New England Patriots have become, somewhat, devious, after the ''spying camera scandal'' and that's what I dig about them this year.
Oh yeah, they have my boy in uniform too, someone that goes by the name, Randy Moss.
They will be facing the Buffalo Bills this week, a team that's yet to win a single game this season. After getting that close to a win to start the season against Denver, they got their asses pummeled by Pittsburgh, 26-3 last Sunday.
And they have to travel to Foxboro to face a red-hot New England Patriots team?!? Jeez... I don't like their chances. Pick the Patriots to win -16.5 baby.
Sunday Night Football this week will feature a battle between two powerhouse teams from the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears. Tony Romo, Terrell Owens and the rest of them Cowboys visit Soldier Field to take on what many are still considering to win the NFC.
That's considering the fact that the Chicago Bears got torched by the San Diego Chargers to kick off the 2007-08 NFL football season. If it wasn't for their win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week, they would be facing a red hot Dallas Cowboys team still searching for their first win.
And when you have a quarterback like Rex Grossman, wins are definitely hard to come.
The Dallas Cowboys are hot, just like they were when they decided to start Tony Romo behind center. The only difference now is the fact that Romo has matured from last season, not to mention moved on from that horrific botched field goal attempt that virtually booted them out of last year's playoffs.
The Dallas Cowboys will indeed be facing a very tough Chicago Bears defense. Brian Urlacher is still the heart of that ridiculously talented defense. Hell, this defense can also score if they have to.
But as long as these Cowboys get running back Marion Barber going to open up the passing lanes for Tony Romo and Terrell Owens, slaying the Bears at Soldier Field shouldn't be a problem.
Pick the Dallas Cowboys -6.5 over the Chicago Bears in a low scoring contest.
As for the rest of them games, here are my picks.
