2007 F1 Season goes to Mount Fuji for the Japanese GP

seth-edward-oneal.jpgYep, it's time once again to rev up the engine and it's now going down the wire people.

Unless of course, you can care less about the 2007 F1 season. For the rest of ya'll, the top F1 drivers in the country will assemble for the first of the final three races of what has been a rather intriguing year in Formula One. *SOB*

The Japanese Grand Prix is the first of the final three legs that will conclude the season. After Japan, the F1 season will go to China before finally finishing in Brazil where, hopefully for Ferrari, homegrown hero Felipe Massa could win the 2007 F1 title.

Of course, Ferrari's Brazilian sensation still has a long way to go before he can have what would be a storybook ending not only to the 2007 F1 season, but to his career with Ferrari. (For all ya'll who didn't know, Felipe is rumored to be moving to Toyota next season...)

Felipe Massa currently has 77 championship points, trailing the championship points leader, Lewis Hamilton by 20. Mathematically, Felipe can still steal the title away from the top three drivers going for this year's championship. Hamilton has 97 points, followed by McLaren - Mercedes teammate Fernando Alonso who has 95.

Massa's Ferrari teammate, Kimi Raikkonen on the other hand, has 84.

Of course, this year's race for the title is best viewed between the two McLaren - Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, who have developed some kind of feud within their own team.

As of press time, the two-time defending F1 world champion, Fernando Alonso, is rumored to be leaving McLaren because of the aforementioned feud. Oh yeah, he hates his rookie teammates' guts too just because he knows Lewis Hamilton can kick his ass in more ways than one come raceday.

Who will win the 2007 F1 championship? Bodog has the odds.

Kimi Raikkonen 7/4

Fernando Alonso 7/4

Lewis Hamilton 9/2

Felipe Massa 5/2
