More TV Time for Boston Celtics in 2007-08 NBA Schedule

Yep, after the Celtics got absolutely ZERO TV time last season, it looks like all the major networks are showing a lot of love towards Boston this time.

I don't know, it must be something to do with Paul Pierce deciding to stick around and play for Boston for a few more years? Or could it be because of the arrival of Ray Allen in Red Sox country? Or maybe, just maybe, it's because of Kevin Garnett deciding to play for the Celtics in the coming 2007-08 NBA Season?

Either way, a lot of people sure want to see what the revamped Boston Celtics will do with the new weapons they have now. With Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin fucking Garnett leading the charge, jeez... people from Boston will now have something else to talk about other than baseball.

The 2007-08 NBA schedule was released before the Boston Celtics completed probably one of the biggest trades ever in NBA history. (THAT being the Kevin Garnett deal of course...) And because of that, the NBA had to recall the released schedule and revise its master list of games just so the Celtics of Pierce, Allen and KG get to appear on TV more.

The league, after recalling the released schedule, gave the Boston Celtics 19 TV appearances after having a big ZERO in TV time last season. The Celtics will be appearing seven times on ESPN, three on TNT (We know drama... sorry, had to get that one out of my system...) and nine on NBA TV.

Of course, with the 2007-08 NBA schedule now out, one can't help but to look forward what the NBA has in store for us on Christmas time. Thankfully, it won't be another stupid Lakers-Heat game that I'm sure, you're already just sick and tired of.

The NBA will be having a nasty triple-header on December 25. Game 1 will be a boring match-up between Dwyane Wade and LeBron James but since the other two games won't be as pathetic as the first one, I guess I can let this one slip.

The Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers face-off before the rivalry we all learned to love two years ago from the playoffs gets it going again. In case you didn't get that, it's the Phoenix Suns going up against their playoff nemesis, Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of the NBA's Christmas night triple-header.

And yes, we'll just be waiting when Raja Bell gives Kobe Bryant another one of his vicious clotheslines. (Unless Kobe doesn't ask for a trade of course...)

Last but not the least, Game 3 will feature the top two picks of the 2007 NBA Draft as Greg Oden leads the Portland Trail Blazers against Kevin Durant and his Seattle Supersonics. This will be the first ever Oden-Durant showdown and if you miss this game, you could be better off shooting yourself in the head with a shotgun.
