F1 star Lewis Hamilton has flu before 2007 European GP

You know, if it's just someone like Takuma Sato, we wouldn't be writing about it.

But it's Lewis Hamilton baby, the No.1 contender for the drivers championship in the 2007 F1 season. And if he gets sick, we will write about it. Heck, we'll try writing about Lewis Hamilton whenever he hiccups four times in a row too.

Yep, coming to the 2007 European Grand Prix at the Nurburgring this Sunday, Lewis Hamilton will try to shake off the effects of the flu that bit his British ass so hard that he ALMOST forgot the shit his McLaren team is in these days.

For all ya'll who forgot already, McLaren is being accused of using the documents they stole from their rivals Ferrari to win some races in the 2007 F1 season. Yep, Lewis Hamilton and two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso, are both fucked now.

For what it's worth, Lewis Hamilton will STILL be trying to win for his McLaren team this Sunday despite the recent scandal. THAT is if he can be at 100 percent come race day with the sick flu that hit him hard the last few days.

''I've just caught a bit of 'flu, but it's okay. I'm really up for it,'' Lewis Hamilton said.

''I don't think it's going to be a problem. The worst of it was earlier on in the week. Trust me, I'm a lot better now than I was on Monday. I've got some good medicine, I'm with a good team, so I'm sure there will be no problems.''

If only his team kept those stolen Ferrari designs a little more discreet, then surely, they won't have any problems at all. He he...

Coming to the 2007 European Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton leads the drivers championship with 70 points, followed by his McLaren teammate, two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso, with 58.

McLaren leads the constructors championship with 128 points. Ferrari is second with 103 points.

Who will win the 2007 European Grand Prix at Nurburgring? Bodog has the odds.

Kimi Raikkonen 13/10

Felipe Massa 9/5

Fernando Alonso 5/2

Lewis Hamilton 3/1
