Ron Artest won't be a Sacramento King until March 22
Yep, it's official, the glory days of the Sacramento Kings and the famous cowbells in Arco Arena are now OVER. The days of cursing the very day the stupid Maloof brothers brought in this circus to California has begun.
Ron Artest, after a successful debut with the Sacramento Kings last season, sort of, is now more of a problem than a franchise player. Just like what he was back in Indiana. I guess the gamble of grabbing Indiana's garbage didn't pay off huh? And now, the Kings organization have one heckuva' salary cap problem for a player they don't even want to suit up.
Sacramento Kings GM Geoff Petrie said that Ron Artest is ''excused indefinitely from any further participation with the team.'' Of course, by ''excused,'' Petrie means, ''I don't want you to play for this team anymore you stupid soon-to-be broke-ass bitch.''
Heck, the relationship between the Sacramento Kings organization and Ron Artest has been strained for quite some time anyway. Even before Artest's arrest. Apparently, Mike Bibby didn't like the guy right from the get-go. Of course, with the way Artest looks like a jackoff every single day of his life, who would?
The tension between Bibby and Artest has been going on for quite a while now, although Ron claimed that he and Bibby already worked out their differences, with Bibby running the offense and him the defense.
Of course, coming from Artest, that's nothing but a load of horseshit.
This ''Ron Artest drama,'' if you can call it that, comes at a very inopportune time when the Maloof brothers, the stupid owners of the team, are grinding for a new arena and meeting fierce taxpayer resistance in Sacramento.
Ron Artest is one of those NBA basketball players that you know, will fuck you up some time and right now, the Maloof brothers are bending over.
Can Ron Artest help the Sacramento Kings advance to the NBA Playoffs? Who will win the 2007 NBA Championship? Here are some odds from Bodog:
Miami Heat 4/1 (boo!)
