The TRUTH behind Celtics mess? Paul Pierce SUCKS

The Boston Celtics are just eating dust.

Yep, when Paul Pierce got injured, they clearly missed their leader, losing game after game that virtually sent them to the very depths of the NBA Basketball pit. Now that they have Pierce back from injury, they still suck anyway.

Maybe they've been playing THIS bad for so long now that they do anything anymore BUT to play bad. Either that or they are just breezing through the NBA Basketball season for a chance to draft either Greg Oden of the Ohio State Buckeyes or Kevin Durant of the Texas Longhorns in the NBA Draft.

Well, the truth is, Paul Pierce sucks. He's not the same guy who led the Boston Celtics to all those memorable playoff wars with the New Jersey Nets a few years back. He's no longer the same guy who played his heart out that he ultimately ''stole'' Antoine Walker's fans and made them watch him instead.

Oh yeah, Antoine Walker did came back but was then traded to the stupid Miami Heat.

And yeah, he gets no slack for the way he knocked the Boston Celts in one of their road losses to the Los Angeles Lakers this season. That was the game we saw Pierce kill his own team with a burst of bad shots and turnovers late in the first half.

In fairness to the guy, it's clear he's laboring in his return from the left foot stress reaction that sidelines him for 24 games. And even a fraction of a step off is a significant difference.

''I'm not there yet,'' Paul Pierce said. ''I still get fatigued. I don't have a lot of lift in my legs. I can't rebound the ball like I want to. I can't elevate. And that's all part of my game. But if I look at the last two months of maybe about three practices, I really just pretty much jumped into the games. I'm just trying to work my way back into shape as I play. There's not much I can do except get thrown into the fire.''

Makes you wonder why he still plays to fuck up his team some more huh?

Can Paul Pierce lead the Boston Celtics to the NBA Playoffs? Who will win the 2007 NBA Championship? Here are some odds from Bodog:

Chicago Bulls 7/1

Detroit Pistons 9/1

Dallas Mavericks 7/2

Miami Heat 4/1 (boo!)
