Can Felipe Massa win in Turkey and beat Kimi Raikkonen?

seth-edward-oneal.jpgThe F1 season resumes in Turkey on Sunday and it looks like it'll just be between two drivers from Ferrari come raceday.

The 2008 F1 season, after four races, is being dominated by Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen as he looks to become double world champion for the first time in his F1 career behind the wheel of the flaming red Scuderia.

However, this coming race on Sunday, the 2008 Turkish Grand Prix, has been dominated by his teammate, Felipe Massa, the past two years. Yup, there's something about the Istanbul circuit that brings out the best in the Brazilian and on Sunday, he'll be looking to dominate again for the third straight year.

''You do not need to be a mind-reader to work out what is my target for this weekend. I want to record a hat-trick of Turkish victories,'' Felipe Massa said. ''It might be possible, but you can never be sure.''

''At the last race, starting third on the grid, I was unable to win on a track where overtaking is very difficult. At the moment, I am enjoying a tough competition with Kimi and my second place in Spain was still a good result. But I will be trying everything to go one better this Sunday.''

''I have to say that Istanbul Park is a fantastic track and I enjoy driving there a lot. I think we have a good car in the F2008 and I feel it can be quite strong this coming weekend. There is every reason to think we can fight for the win.''

Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, can't seem to follow up on his maiden win of the year when he won the first race of the F1 season in Australia. He is currently nine points behind Kimi Raikkonen in the drivers championship standings, despite that, he remains optimistic coming to Istanbul.

''A few people have questioned my commitment, my ability to drive,'' Lewis Hamilton said. ''I'm not Superman but I believe I have the ability to win a World Championship.''

''Everybody makes mistakes. I'm sure Nelson Mandela, at 90-odd, still makes mistakes. That's life. What people say about my performances does not really bother me what does concern me is doing the job to the best of my abilities.''

''Once we get everything right, our car is as quick as any. Then it is down to the driver to pull out extra bits of time. I think I can do that.''
