David Beckham will debut for L.A. Galaxy on July 21

THAT is if he can recover from yet another injury.

David Beckham, after all those years kicking a ball around the field, has now become injury-prone probably because he just refuses to listen to his body, begging him to just quit and retire.

So what does his body do these days? Smack Becks with yet another injury that will probably stop the Spice Boy from playing football for about a few weeks. The latest of which came in a very opportune time, his debut with his new team the Los Angeles Galaxy is merely a few days away.

Yep, David Beckham, if he can recover in time, will be making his debut with the Los Angeles Galaxy on July 21 to play in an exhibition game against familiar foes, Chelsea FC. Beckham has played against the Chelsea Blues back when Becks was wearing his familiar No.7 jersey for the Manchester United Red Devils.

If he can recover from his latest injury, (oh yeah... the guy has been having a lot of them lately...) Beckham will be facing Chelsea again THIS TIME leading his new team from Tinseltown.

David Beckham originally injured his left ankle playing for England in a European Championship qualifier on June 6 and it flared up again when he played for Real Madrid in Spanish league action.

''David had a scan on his injury and that showed no long-term damage,'' Beckham's agent, Simon Oliveira, said. ''With the right rest and rehabilitation he should be training as planned.''

Beckham, after leading his former team, Real Madrid, to the 2007 Spanish La Liga title, regained his spot in the England national football team after Sven-Goran Erikkson kicked him out.

The Los Angeles Galaxy plans to officially introduce David Beckham to the MLS soccer fans on Friday the 13th.
